The Geyser Tap draws on the extensive experience of its co-founders in the kitchen and manufacturing industries.
Mike and Martin have spent years refining the Geyser Tap by developing and innovating a product that combines form and function in a stylish and practical way.
It’s no surprise that their shared passion for producing quality products brought them together initially as colleagues and soon after as friends.
Mike has spent a lifetime in the kitchen industry. He first developed a chain of boutique kitchen showrooms before starting Waterline Limited in 1985. Over the next 20 years, he turned Waterline into the largest distributor of kitchen products to the kitchen industry. In 2011, he sold the company and has focussed his attention on other projects, which has included developing the Geyser Hot Tap system.
Martin is a chartered accountant who found 1990s corporate life overseeing the European operations of a large British investment bank to be creatively unfulfilling. He left to become an entrepreneur with a manufacturing business and a software development company.
In 2007 he co-founded Krushr Ltd, maker of America’s leading kitchen recycling compactor. He’s still CEO of Krushr, as well as CEO of interiors fashion business Buster & Punch.
Martin met Mike during the early stages of Krushr’s product development and soon realised they shared the same commitment and passion to producing the best product at an accessible price. Lawrence & Preen was born to carry on that commitment with the Geyser Tap.
